Laneway Bridal was established in 2021 by Kristie May. The Taigum, Brisbane Bridal Studio opened in July 2022.
With years of prior bridal experience, running an online only bridal boutique between 2009-2014, plus planning her own wedding (#1), Kristie listened to clients and couples, and wanted to do things a little differently.
From dresses in stock with inclusive sizing (2-30), exceptional price points with gowns under $2500, low deposits, ability to buy off the rack, designer sourcing and custom designs, coloured and different gowns to the standard, plus a relaxed, 1:1 fully personalised, no pressure shopping environment, Laneway Bridal has everything you need to find "the one".
Appointments can be booked online now. Note that we don't accept walk-ins.

Meet Kristie May
Your in-person 1:1 appointment in our Taigum, Brisbane Bridal Studio will be with Kristie May, who has over 17 years experience in the wedding and formal industry, in both sourcing, designing and manufacturing.
If you proceed with a custom design, Kristie is the one who will personally design and organise your dress in conjunction with our team of highly experienced bridal manufacturers.
Kristie is also a Wedding & Bridal Educator, who can provide you with tips and tricks for your wedding.
Kristie also packs and ships your online orders, to maintain that fully personalised experience that Laneway Bridal is known for.
When Kristie isn't working, she is spending time with her family, and travelling.
Our Laneway Bridal Studio is in Taigum Brisbane, and operates via appointment only. As a result, our actual address will only be provided upon booking confirmation.
Our Brisbane Bridal Studio is open select days between Monday-Saturday (closed Sunday and Public Holidays). You can click here to view our current availability.
We offer 15min (Brief), 45min (Express), 1hr 15min (Standard), and 1hr 45min (Deluxe) appointments.
Our primary brands are Tania Olsen Designs/Tania Olsen Bridal, Nicoletta (formerly Jadore Australia), Tina Holly Couture, Herawhite Bridal, Helen Fontaine International, and our own Laneway Bridal label. We also do designer sourcing from various brands such as Masal, Morilee, Ronald Joyce, Veni Infantino, Catherine R Couture, Maria Anette, Mon Cheri Enchanting, Martin Thornburg, plus more (though note, many of these are above our standard $2500 price point and will need to be a custom order).
A few times a year we run our popular $99 sale, however we have made the decision to keep all in-stock dresses under $2500, to ensure every style remains affordable. We can source dresses from a variety of other brands which may be of a higher price point.
After spending over 16 years working with bridal and formalwear, we have researched, trialled and obtained the best and most reputable suppliers and manufacturers in the industry, many of whom supply and make dresses for known brands and expensive bridal boutiques. We simply don't add high surcharges to our gowns as we have much lower overheads compared to many other stores, and we aim to be affordable to all of our clients.
In store we have sizes AU 2-30 (US 6-28), however we can order up to size AU 40 for certain brands. Custom sizing may also be available for selected dresses on request.
We recommend having professional measurements taken, and compare them against the Size Charts. If you require any assistance, please let us know. Note that alterations will always be required for the best fit.

Yes! If you require some time to pay off the dress, we request a 30% non-refundable/non-transferable deposit to order/hold, with the balance payable over 2 months. We are happy to work with what suits you. Note that the dress cannot be released until full payment has been made.
Yes, alterations will always be required for the perfect fit.
No, we don't offer an alterations service, however we can suggest some options for alterations professionals, so you can obtain some quotes.
